How to take care of your jewellery

The beauty of the jewellery I make lie in their sophisticated designs, and also in the different materials and unique finishing techniques I use.

To keep your pieces looking as good as the day you bought them, it is important to follow a few simple steps to clean and care for them. Different pieces require different ways of cleaning, however, and which instructions are relevant to your piece, will be set out clearly with each product in my shop.

Below are some general information and precautions you can take in caring for any of your jewellery.

Wear and tear

Wearing a piece every day inevitably results in wear and tear.

Earrings and pendants hang freely from the body, and will therefore be less susceptible than rings and bracelets to wear and tear and accidental damage.

Accidents, like dropping a piece on a hard floor, may cause the metal to dent or scratch, and gemstones may chip or loosen from their settings.
